A Little About the Owner of Capital Area Restoration Services
My name is Erick Azucena, I have experience in many different traits, I specialize in Mold Remediation and Fire/Water Damage Restoration. I graduated from Anderson High School in '06 located in Austin, Texas. After I graduated from AHS i went on to volunteer at a County Fire Dept at the age of 18 and got accepted into the Travis County Fire Academy. Once i graduated from the Fire Academy I went on to work for Travis County ESD#4 as a full-time firefighter until i started a new journey at CenTex General Contractors. I worked for CenTex General Contractors for about 10 years and learned many things from customer service to managing/supervising workers/jobs to writing estimates and many other things. I did what needed to be done to get the job done. I am on to a new journey now with Capital Area Restoration Services which has been in business for over 4 years, we specialize in Mold, Water and Fire Remediation/Restoration. I have over 14 years of experience in the construction, remediation/restoration business.
Going to the Travis County Fire Academy and working at Travis County Fire Control ESD#4 I gained some great education and field experience. Some certifications and courses I took while at the Fire Academy and the Fire Department started with my IFSAAC seals for structural firefighting and continued with Building Construction, Confined Space Rescue, EMT Basic, Fire Science, Haz Mat Tech, Incident Command System, Low Angle/High Angle Rescue, Wildland Firefighting and Oil Spills On Open Water.
Working at Centex General Contractors I learned many valuable things in customer service, drywall, fixing machines, flooring, framing, general construction, leaks, managing supervisors, managing projects and microbial growth (under 25 contiguous square feet), painting, renovations, reconstructions, siding, sub flooring, tile, roofing, writing estimates and much more.
I am on to a new journey now with Capital Area Restoration Services and I have taken the proper courses to educate myself and get my certifications from the IICRC for Water/Fire Damage Restoration and my license from the TDLR for Mold Remediation.
